Monday to Saturday: 8:00am

Saturday: 5:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am, 9:30am (Italian), 11:00am

Currently, no fixed seating capacity has been mandated for Churches however, since physical distancing requirements remain in place, indoor capacity is approximately one-third (33%) of maximum capacity.

Face masks continue to be mandatory as is signing our contact tracing book. Pre-registration is not required except for Masses on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Proof of Vaccination Information for Parishioners

For love of our neighbour and ourselves, Diocesan and Public Health Pandemic Protocols are followed at all our Masses  to ensure a welcome and safe environment for all.

Parishioners are reminded that Bishop Bergie's dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation, granted on March 16, 2020, is ongoing.

We pray with you and for you with patience so we can beat Covid-19 together.

JOURNEY THROUGH ADVENT 2021:The CCCB will release a video recording of a Bishop in Canada reflecting on the Gospel Reading for each Sunday of Advent. This year's reflections were developed in view of the Indigenous Delegation which will be travelling to Rome.. Each reflection is based one of the five essential stages of reconciliation: examen, confession, repentance, reparation (making amends), and reconciliation. Likewise, it is hoped these reflections will assist the faithful, Indigenous and non-Indigenous alike, in preparing for Pope Francis' eventual apostolic journey to Canada.

A SPECIAL SYNOD: Our Holy Father has convoked a synod entitled "For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission". It began in each Diocese on Sunday October 17, 2021.   Synodality indicates walking together and  listening to one another but above all to the Holy Spirit. To deepen this essential characteristic of the Church, the upcoming synod is unlike any previous one.  It starts with, and involves all the faithful at local Churches across the world, promising to listen to all, especially to laypeople. That is why this Synod is a 2-year process, starting now and culminating with the traditional assembly of the Synod of Bishops in the Vatican in October 2023.  Click here to read the Pastoral Letter from Bishop Gerard Bergie.

SUNDAY MASS:  Screening and public health protocols are in place.

It is Diocesan policy that everyone attending Mass or other Services in the Church is required to sign the Contact Tracing Book when entering the Church and to wear a face mask.In view of the rapid spread and grave threat of new COVID-19 variants, any parishioner who is unable to wear a mandatory face covering should not attend any church service. Voluntary compliance with this basic public health directive reflects our fundamental belief in the sanctity of all human life, gives honour to God and demonstrates love for our neighbours. Please stay home if you have a fever or are feeling unwell and seek medical attention. The Sunday Mass celebrations will be live-streamed from the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria at 11:30 am. Go to "Live-streamed Mass from the Cathedral" on www.saintcd.com or click here.

The Prayer of the Synod

Adsumus Sancte Spiritus

We stand before You, Holy Spirit, as we gather together in Your name. With You alone to guide us, make Yourself at home in our hearts; Teach us the way we must go and how we are to pursue it. We are weak and sinful; do not let us promote disorder. Do not let ignorance lead us down the wrong path nor partiality influence our actions. Let us find in You our unity so that we may journey together to eternal life and not stray from the way of truth and what is right. All this we ask of You, who are at work in every place and time, in the communion of the Father and the Son, forever and ever. Amen.

DONATE

Your gift - no matter the amount - will ensure that our mission continues for generations to come.

MISSION

As believers in God, Creator of Heaven and Earth, and believers in the Salvation revealed by Jesus Christ, the very existence of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church is to be a living witness of God's promises to human beings.
